Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of visaphotoapp.com and the VisaPhotoPlus iOS app (together, "VisaPhotoApp," "Service"), operated by FamilyDocs Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. No Account Required

You can use VisaPhotoApp without creating an account. Purchases are tracked by the email address you provide at checkout (web) or your Apple ID (iOS), not by a login. Signing in with a FamilyDocs account is optional and only affects a small set of extra features (removing the promotional watermark from the free preview, and unlocking the print-layout sheet immediately).

2. What the Service Does

VisaPhotoApp processes a photo you upload or capture: it removes the background, crops it to the dimensions required for your selected country/document type, and runs automated checks (face detection, head pose, eyes/mouth state, framing) to flag likely rejection issues before you pay.

We do not guarantee acceptance. Final acceptance of any photo is determined solely by the government agency, consulate, or other authority you submit it to. Passing our checks reduces — but does not eliminate — the risk of rejection.

iOS purchases: All in-app purchase refunds are handled by Apple, not us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or via Settings → your Apple ID → Media & Purchases on your device.

Web purchases: Contact support@visaphotoapp.com with your purchase email and we'll review the request.

5. Your Photo, Your Ownership

You own the photos you upload and the results we generate for you. We do not claim any rights to your photos. See our Privacy Policy for how we store and protect them.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for temporary service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

VisaPhotoApp is provided "as is." We are not liable for a photo being rejected by a government agency or consulate, for processing errors, or for any resulting travel delays or costs. Always review your photo against the official requirements of the authority you're submitting to.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
