How does it work?

What is the quality score?
The score is only one part of the decision. We also use explicit warnings, blocking checks, and biometric compliance checks to decide whether a photo should move forward. Unlike tools that quietly pass weak photos, we tell you when something looks wrong.
What if my photo gets a low score?
Retake and try again — it's free. If we think the photo should fail, we block payment and tell you why. If the photo is usable but risky, we show warnings and fix tips first. You only pay when the result passes.
Why mention authenticity?
Visa and passport photos should look like you, not a beautified version of you. We aim to preserve natural portrait detail — including fine hair edges and grey hairs — rather than cutting the subject into an overly artificial silhouette.
Which countries are supported?

Each uses the exact official dimensions and DPI required by that country.
Do you accept HEIC photos from iPhone?
Yes. We accept HEIC and HEIF uploads in addition to JPEG and PNG. That means iPhone users can usually upload the photo directly instead of converting it first.
Do you offer physical prints?
We provide digital photos only. You can print them at any photo printing service (CVS, Walgreens, Costco, etc.) on 4×6" photo paper using the standard layout — typically under $0.50.
Is my photo data secure?
Yes. Your original upload is used for processing and cleaned up from the processing server after about 30 minutes. Processed photos may be stored securely so you can retrieve them later, and we do not share your photos with third parties or use them for AI training. We do not currently claim an automatic 30-day deletion window.
What is the China Visa Companion extension?

What is the biometric compliance check?
VisaPhotoApp runs biometric compliance checks on your processed photo before you download it. We verify common passport-photo requirements: single face in frame, head facing camera, correct head size, face centered and level, eyes open, and mouth closed. Each check shows a ✓ or ✗ so you can spot issues early. This helps catch common rejection reasons before payment — but final acceptance is always determined by the issuing authority.
